About AGTV - Cooperation in Victoria

The AGTV has 12 teacher networks throughout Victoria with teachers volunteering to be Network Leaders in their area and coordinating Network programs. The Network Leaders form a Sub-Committee of the AGTV, usually convened by a Vice-President. A Network Leaders Conference is held each year to review operations between the Networks and the Committee.

The AGTV is represented on the Goethe-Institut "German Forum" Committee along with representatives from the Department of Education and Training (DE&T), the Catholic Education Office (CEO), the Association of Independent Schools of Victoria (AISV), the German, Swiss and Austrian Consulates, Monash and Swinburne Universities and the University of Melbourne, as well as the German Saturday School Inc. in Melbourne and the Association of German-Speaking Communities (AGSC).

The AGTV has representation on the committees of the Modern Language Teachers Association of Victoria (MLTAV) and the Council of Professional Teaching Associations of Victoria (CPTAV).
