The kits contain images of the works covered and were sent to all school libraries and are available in the GI Resource Centres.

A second CD-ROM resource was produced by the Goethe-Institut in Melbourne with an emphasis on cross-curricular activities. General Information about the Sandridge Bridge project:
I n 2006, the Australians’ History initiative was completed on the newly refurbished Sandridge Rail bridge. This historic bridge has been transformed into a pedestrian and bike path, linking the north and south banks of the Yarra. The Australians’ History initiative, located on the bridge, records the history of Victoria’s and Australia’s growth on a series of glass panels and interactive electronic touch screen.
The glass panels provide details of the original Indigenous inhabitants, and on all immigrant nations and peoples who have helped shape the diverse society of modern Victoria.

There are 128 glass panels in total, and 114 are dedicated to information on migration from specific nations, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe. I
n addition to the 128 glass panels, Australians’ History includes six interactive electronic touch screens, which provide visitors access to additional Indigenous and immigration data, including information on the historic Sandridge bridge, source country images, and print outs of the country information from the glass panels.

The Australians' History Project is located on the Yarra River accessible from the north (adjacent to Flinders Street Station) or South Bank (between Crown Casino and Freshwater Place). The Glass Panel each immigrant nation can be downloaded and printed as a PDF.  Simply select a country from the pull down menu to begin your download.  The link is
http://www.australianshistory.org.au/glass_panels.htm. The panels feature information such as place of origin, dates and reasons for arrival, numbers for both Australia and Victoria and languages spoken. The map clearly shows where the country is located.
